So yesterday I showcased a card from the Adventure Awaits (137148) stamp set in the soon to be launched new Occasions catalog. In staying with the more masculine or subdued theme, I looked for a paper to match this particular stamp along with an idea that “wood” make sense. Pun aside, it was just a tad bit challenging but check it out:
The entire 2015 Occasions catalogue (due out on Tuesday!!!) is full of wonderful ideas, especially Valentines day, but I was thinking about other occasions for some of the men in my life.
This new five piece stamp set called Adventure Awaits (137148) is more inspiration than the typical greeting. For a change of pace, Stampin’ Up! has also designed a photo paper to complement the more masculine types of card designs. Check it out:

I enjoy getting Christmas cards in the mail. I know so many who have now gone to email, which for me, kind of defeats the idea.
The idea is to brighten up someone’s life for any holiday, not only to share your family’s history for the past year – although I don’t mind getting quick note on that too – it really is all about the thought. It’s like a small gift to give at this time of year to brighten up someone’s day. Nothing says this better than a hand-made card.
